Professional Experience and Academic Achievements
My name is Dr. Pradipta Majumder, MD, and I am a board-certified general adult and child and adolescent psychiatrist. I have been extensively trained in two different subcontinents, which has encircled my journey as a psychiatrist who has worked with a diverse group of individuals from various culture and ethnicities.
In addition to my clinical endeavors, I maintain active memberships in esteemed professional organizations such as the American Psychiatric Association, the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Central Pennsylvania’s Psychiatric Society.
Beyond clinical practice, I have contributed scholarly articles on diverse psychiatric topics and served as a reviewer for multiple academic journals and forums, showcasing my commitment to advancing mental health awareness and quality improvement.
My academic journey includes earning a medical degree from Kolkata Medical College & Hospital in India, followed by psychiatry residencies at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences and Mt Sinai Morningside/West in New York City.
Additionally, I completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
